GEOL 565 - Hydrology


Spring. Offered in alternate years. (4) Hancock. Prerequisite(s): GEOL 101 or GEOL 110 or GEOL 150, and MATH 111, or permission of instructor.

Quantitative investigation of the major components of the hydrologic cycle and their interactions, including atmospheric water, surface water, and groundwater. Graduate students will be required to research topics or questions as given by the instructor and make presentations to the class. Field trips required. Three class hours, three laboratory hours.
