CDSP: Organization of Graduate Programs

There is a standing Committee on Graduate Studies consisting of faculty members who have been designated as Director of Graduate Studies for each CDSP department or program. It is chaired by the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies. The Committee on Graduate Studies establishes and carries out policy with respect to admissions, curricula, degree requirements, and academic standards in programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, and such other earned post-baccalaureate degrees as may fall within the jurisdiction of the CDSP Faculty; and, concurrently with other faculties of the university, for all programs in which members of the CDSP Faculty participate substantially. Most administrative matters require the approval of either the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies or the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies.
