Residential Programs
Get ready for an inspiring legal education that produces the best in the profession. The School of Law is a part of the state-supported William & Mary. At William & Mary Law School, we believe that we prepare professionally ready graduates better than any other program in the country. It all starts with our philosophy of the citizen lawyer. A degree from W&M Law provides the foundation for our graduates to lead in their communities, motivated by the desire for progress and by the knowledge that members of the legal profession have a special responsibility that comes with their degrees. The Law School residential programs include:
Juris Doctor in Law (J.D.)
A full-time residential professional study of law.
Juris Doctor Combination Degrees
Combined Degree programs allow students to complete two graduate degrees concurrently in less time than would be required to complete each degree separately. William & Mary law students can pursue a degree in law and a second degree in one of the following:
- Business (MBA)
- American Studies (MA)
- Public Policy (MPP)
Master of Laws in American Legal Studies (LL.M.)
A graduate degree in American Legal Studies.
