EDUC 645 - The Counselor and Psychopathology

Summer 3 Gressard.

This course examines the most common types of psychopathology encountered in community coun­seling settings. Students will be introduced to the diagnostic categories of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual with particular emphasis placed on making appropriate multi-axial diagnoses and the use of these diagnoses for treatment planning and intervention strategies.
