MSCI 559 - Parasitology

Fall, odd years (3) Shields.

This course covers the biology and ecology of protozoan, helminth and crustacean parasites. Focus is on parasites of medical and veterinary importance. Emphasis is placed on life cycles, pathology, control methods and ecological impacts of parasitic infections. Recommended:Invertebrate Zoology or comparable course.
