CSCI 464 - Applied Cybersecurity

This course introduces computer network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. The course explores how malicious actors and hackers attack computers and networks and how to protect against these threats. This is a hands-on learning course where students will be exposed to and perform various types of vulnerability assessments and explore penetration testing techniques in order to understand how to defend against cyber-attacks. Legal implications and ethical issues will also be addressed.
