BUAD 433 - Identity, Power, and Profit: Perspectives on DEI Work

This course is specially designed to maximize William and Mary’s DC-based alumni and partner networks to enhance students’ understanding of current issues related to identity, power, privilege. This experiential course is offered in partnership with the William and Mary Washington Center and will provide students with a deeper understanding of micro and macro organizational issues on diversity, equity, and inclusion work. Through site visits, cultural immersions, and conversations with DEI experts across a variety of industries, students will emerge with a more nuanced understanding of the role of strategic leadership, planning, communication, and assessment of organizational DEI initiatives.
