CHEM 498 - Chemistry Internship

The chemistry internship course is designed to allow students to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting. Chemistry internships will differ based on the individual program, but are generally intended to: (1) reinforce how chemical knowledge is applied in the professional world, (2) help students to think critically about real-world problems, and (3) expose students to networking opportunities outside of academia. CHEM 498 may be taken only with the consent of the Chemistry Department and a faculty mentor prior to the start of the internship and is not repeatable for credit.
