MSCI 690 - Bayesian Spatial and Spatio-Temporal Modeling

Summer, even years (1) Chiu. Graded Pass/Fail. Prerequisite(s): MSCI 676  or MSCI 679  

This 1-credit intensive workshop introduces the basic principles of Bayesian modeling of spatial / spatio-temporal processes. Hands-on computational exercises (mostly toy examples) provide practice of the principles. Students are given a roadmap towards future advanced training beyond this course to facilitate the modeling of real-life spatio-temporal data.
