THEA 360 - Musical Theatre Performance

Immersion in the production of a new or already developed full length musical incorporating more advanced and specialized training. Besides the performance of your role in this production, the whole class will be involved in dramaturgy from the period of the musical, and contribute to various technical elements of the workshop production. These may include assistance with sound, properties, lighting, or wardrobe. This process is designed to be as similar as possible to a professional theatre’s Workshop level of production and will involve contributions to staging, choreography, and character development through both dialogue and action.
