BIOL 220 - Introduction to Organisms, Ecology, Evolution Fall (3) Cristol. Corequisite(s): BIOL 221 or BIOL 298 (GER 2B)
Course is designed for potential biology majors. Lectures explore the diversity of organisms, their interactions with each other and the environment, and the evolutionary processes that produce diversity. Topics include Mendelian genetics, major taxonomic groups, ecology, and evolution. Presupposes strong background in high school biology. Three class hours. (formerly BIOL 204 lecture)
