LAW M27 - Sp Top in Env Law: Climate Chg This course will examine the phenomenon of global climate change and its implications for law and policy across all institutional levels. Climate change will be examined both as a physical and social phenomenon with implications for scientific, legal, economic, and political systems. In addition to exploring the global response, the course will study the U.S. approach, including federal, state, local and private initiatives. Topics of study may include, among others, renewable energy, sustainable land development, property rights and climate change, food sustainability, carbon sequestration, and regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.
