Asian and Pacific Islander American Studies Faculty  

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are the fastest growing ethnic group in the United States.  This interdisciplinary minor will provide students with the research, interpretive, and creative skills needed to examine the culture and experiences of this group.  Program faculty are drawn from a variety of disciplines, making it possible to study these communities in a variety of contexts, including the broader Asian and Pacific Islander diasporas, globalization, the American Civil Rights movement, decolonization, and Third world solidarity.
