A candidate for the degree of Master of Arts in Chemistry must acquire 32 credits, including 20 credit hours in courses numbered 600 and above, selected under the guidance of a departmental advisor. All of the requirements for the Chemistry M.S. degree must be satisfied except for the Thesis and associated credits for CHEM 695 - Directed Thesis Master’s Research and CHEM 700 - Thesis , none of which can be applied to the M.A. degree.
