Requirements for Minor in Italian Studies

The Minor in Italian Studies requires a minimum of 18 credit hours beyond 202 or 203. A minimum of 12 credits from the Italian language section must include the following:

• ITAL 206 - Italian Language Through Film  or
• ITAL 208 - Reading and Writing Italy (In Italian) 
• A minimum of two 300-level Topics Courses (In Italian)
• A minimum of one 300-level Topics Course (In Italian or In English)

A maximum of six credits may be taken outside of the section in consultation with the faculty of the Italian section. Any course proposed must be approved by the Program Director in Italian Studies prior to registration.
