Students must submit a 2-year plan of study at the beginning of their first semester in the M.S. program, which must be endorsed by their faculty advisors and then approved by the Graduate Admission Committee.
Computer Science, M.S.
The total credit hour requirement for the M.S. in CS (non-Thesis option) is 32 credits, which must be accumulated by completing a program of courses approved by the Department.
Computer Science, M.S. - Thesis Option
The total credit hour requirement for the M.S. in CS (Thesis option) is 30 credits, which must be accumulated by completing a program of courses approved by the Department. Six credits of CSCI 700 are required as part of the 30 credits. No more than 6 credits of CSCI 700 can be used to satisfy the requirement of 30 semester hours of graduate credit.
