The combined Ph.D. in EPPL with a concentration in Higher Education Administration with the MPP - Master of Public Policy is a combined educational leadership and public policy program that allows students to obtain both a Ph.D. and a M.P.P. degree in five years, instead of the six years that would be required if each were pursued separately. Candidates interested in this joint degree program must apply to and gain acceptance by both the Graduate School of Education and the Public Policy program In Graduate Arts & Sciences. Please see the listing under the School of Education  for this combined degree program.

This combined degree program permits a reduction of 24 credits to the total credit hours required if the two degree programs were completed separately.
