This requirement can be met in two ways. (1)
Select three 500 level courses selected from the six courses listed below (six credits) (3 courses at 2 credits each). Students will need to complete the form required for undergraduate enrollment in graduate courses (see the College Catalog for details). The 500 level courses are the same as the 400 level courses, except for the recitation section associated with the 400 level courses. The recitation section can be repeated for credit - once to meet the Physical Science requirement and once to meet the Biological Science requirement, and that there is a recitation section corresponding to each of the Fundamentals of Marine Science courses. or (2)
Select two 400-level courses from the six courses listed below and the appropriate recitation section (six credits) (2 courses + corresponding recitation sections = 3 credits each). Students must select one course from the Biological topics (MSCI 401 D, E or F) and one course from the Physical Sciences topics (MSCI 401 A, B or C). |
