MS in Nonprofit Management
The nonprofit sector is experiencing unprecedented growth and influence. With 12.5 million professionals currently employed across diverse mission-driven organizations, and expansion projected in every sector, the need for people who can strengthen these organizations has never been greater. Yet 75% of nonprofit executives report difficulty filling critical positions. The MS in Nonprofit Management at William & Mary prepares students to meet that need, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills to turn their passion for a cause into meaningful, measurable impact.

One year (30 credit hours; can be completed over two years)
Format
On the campus of the William & Mary Washington Center in Washington, D.C.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, be in good academic standing, and demonstrate a clear interest in the nonprofit sector.
A complete application includes:
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended
- A resume or CV detailing academic, professional, and volunteer experience
- A personal statement describing the applicant's interest in nonprofit leadership and career goals
- One letter of recommendation addressing the applicant's academic ability and potential
- A personal admissions interview (by video or phone) for qualified applicants
GRE and GMAT scores are not required; applicants may submit them optionally.
