Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences

The College of Arts & Sciences offers the broad, interdisciplinary education that defines the William & Mary experience. Through more than 40 departments and interdisciplinary programs, eight graduate programs and William & Mary's innovative COLL curriculum, students are encouraged to explore ideas across disciplines while deepening their understanding of the arts & humanities, social sciences, and natural, mathematical & health sciences.

An Arts & Sciences education is shaped by curiosity, close faculty mentorship and learning by doing. Students collaborate with accomplished faculty as they pursue original research, creative work and other hands-on experiences that bring classroom learning to life. Along the way, they learn to think critically, communicate clearly and approach complex questions with confidence.
