MUSC 201 - Tonal Theory I (4)
MUSC 213 - History of Western Music (4) or
MUSC 241 - Worlds of Music (4)
One 4-credit course in musicology, theory, or composition at the 300- or 400-level

Additional Requirements:

The remaining 8 credits are electives. MUSC 101 may not be used towards the minor. If more than 4 elective credits are in music performance (including lessons and ensembles), at least two semesters must be at the 30- or 40-level.
