GSWS 315 - Women in Antiquity

A study, through analysis of dramatic, historical and artistic sources, of the role of women in Greece and Rome. The role of women in the home, in politics and in religion will be discussed, as will the sexual mores involving both heterosexual women and lesbians. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies major/minor.
