ECON 425 - Energy Economics Credits: (3) Prerequisite(s): ECON 303 and ECON 308 College Curriculum: COLL 400 This course examines energy markets including markets for oil, refined petroleum products, natural gas, electricity and renewable energies. The course provides an empirical, time series econometric study of energy demand and supply and how energy markets interact with the rest of the economy. Students will learn methods used to study energy markets and develop independent research in energy economics.
