Prerequisite(s): HISP 240 and 1 HISP course numbered between 250-330, or permission of instructor.
Development of speaking skills in the field of medicine, language justice and public health. Acquisition of vocabulary, cross-cultural communication, ethics of interpretation. Assessment based on recorded performance, tests & essays: Taught on campus; may require site visits off campus and may facilitate possible summer internship on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
