Health Inequality Across the Americas challenges nation-state conceptions of health and community to advance students’ understanding of inequality in an interconnected, global world. Students will learn to engage health issues theoretically and sociologically, with critical perspectives on a variety of measures and methodologies that demonstrate human and social difference, perpetuate and challenge inequalities.
