Lectures explore the molecular and cellular characteristics of living organisms including cell structure, biochemistry, metabolism, molecular genetics, and cellular processes in development. Recommended for science majors. Presupposes strong background in high school biology and chemistry. Three class hours. (formerly BIOL 203 lecture)
