CAMS Applied Statistics Track, BS

The minimum number of credit hours for the major is 30 required credit hours and 9 credit hours of prerequisites. Proficiency requirements are typically fulfilled by completing an additional 21 credit hours. The major must include courses from at least three departments, with no more than half of the credit hours coming from any one department.

Major Writing Requirement

The upper-division writing requirement may be satisfied in one of the following ways:

Major Computing Requirement

Proficiency in a high-level programming language and fundamental concepts in data structures is required. This is normally done by taking and passing CSCI 140 or 141 or DATA 141, and CSCI 241.
