BIOL 426 - Aquatic Ecology Credits: (4) Prerequisite(s): BIOL 204 or consent of instructor Introduction to the ecology of aquatic systems; discussion of the important physical and chemical characteristics of aquatic environments and the adaptations of organisms living in water; community structure and the important processes affecting it, including major aspects of water pollution. Three class hours, three laboratory hours. There is a fee associated with the laboratory.
