BIOL 377 - Bioengineering and Synthetic Biology Credits: (3) Prerequisite(s): BIOL 203 and BIOL 204 , or permission of instructor. An introduction to the principles of bioengineering with a focus on the fundamentals of synthetic biology. The course will cover current applications of synthetic biology to medicine, global health, biotechnology, energy, environment and sustainability, agriculture, bio-inspired design, and novel living materials.
