Computational and Applied Mathematics, Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Accelerated Pathway (BMAP)

W&M undergraduate students may complete both a master’s degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research (CAM-OR) and a bachelor’s degree in five years.

Students may apply for admission to the BMAP when they are a social junior and have completed at least 54 undergraduate credit hours (including MATH 109, MATH 212, and CSCI 141 or the equivalent), have at least a 3.0 grade point average, and have satisfied the requirements in the University’s BMAP policy. Three of the following courses, MATH 524, MATH 551, MATH 552, and MATH 555 (cross-level linked to MATH 424, MATH 451, MATH 452, and MATH 455), may double count towards both a bachelor’s degree and the master’s degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research.
